As a wedding photographer, I love celebrating love and capturing it in all its beauty. Nothing brings me more joy than witnessing two people come together to celebrate their new venture in life. One such unforgettable occasion was Aaron and Cindy's Morning Wedding at Crane Cottage Jekyll Island. The venue was perfect for the lovely couple, and I had a blast photographing their memorable moments.
Aaron And Cindy's Morning Wedding at Crane Cottage Jekyll Island
Aaron and Cindy's love story is truly inspiring. Though it may have started as a typical online dating experience on Match.com, their love overcame one of the most challenging times in history - COVID! It is extraordinary how they managed to come out stronger than ever, and a year later, they got engaged. The best part? It's their second marriage! Aaron and Cindy's love reminds me that true love finds a way no matter what life throws at you (even a global pandemic). After reaching out and discussing their wedding day timeline with me, I knew that Cindy and Aaron's wedding day would be epic - and it indeed was!
Planning the wedding of their dreams, Aaron and Cindy tied the knot at Crane Cottage on Jekyll Island, and they couldn't have chosen a more dreamy venue to celebrate their wedding. For their wedding, Aaron and Cindy planned to give their guests a spectacular all-day experience and split their wedding into two parts. Before their wedding ceremony, the lovebirds arranged a lavish early breakfast for their guests. They offered burritos, baked goods, Mimosas, and Bloody Marys, and also arranged for a coffee bar for all the coffee lovers! Cindy and Aaron left no stone unturned in giving their guests a wedding to remember. Plus, this fun little get-together before the wedding was such a great opportunity for me to get some amazing shots of everyone chatting, laughing, and having a good time.
The Ceremony
Cindy and Aaron had a morning wedding ceremony in the romantic Crane Courtyard after breakfast. Their ceremony venue looked magical, with a beautiful fountain in the middle of the courtyard and chairs on either side of the aisle. Cindy wore a gorgeous wedding dress and looked like a vision in white. Aaron's face lit up as he saw Cindy walking up the aisle, and I could see the love and excitement in his eyes. It was such a sweet moment.
The Outfits!
Cindy didn't have one but three outfits! However, this lovely bride came all prepared and I love it when my brides put in the extra effort to make their wedding truly unique. Exploring different spots at the cottage, Aaron and Cindy radiated love as I continued photographing their couple's portraits. Aaron looked handsome in his bowtie, while Cindy's elegant floral dress matched the surroundings perfectly.
The weather was pleasant, and the natural lighting was spot-on for taking those bright, romantic wedding photos. After a few hours, we headed indoors to take more photos of Aaron and Cindy at the historic Jekyll Island Club House. And this time, Aaron changed into a second outfit and styled himself in a white tux! Aaron and Cindy were such fashionistas, and I LOVED their energy and enthusiasm.
Aaron and Cindy had doubles of everything from their wedding attire to their wedding cake! The couple had two wedding cakes, with Aaron having his very own custom cake that showed off his hobbies and love for Star Trek, while the other cake was decorated with flowers and white icing. Aaron and Cindy were all about having fun and making memories on their big day. They went all-out planning such a fabulous wedding and were so happy to share this moment with their friends and family.
