Nothing quite compares to the moment when two people in love get engaged! It’s the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their relationship and a time to celebrate their happily ever after. And as a photographer, I love helping my clients celebrate this new milestone in their lives. Tina and Kalan’s Driftwood Beach Photography engagement session ticked all the boxes for a dreamy photo shoot. The location was absolutely stunning, with crashing waves and a dramatic evening sky setting the scene for some truly romantic photos.

When couples reach out to me for a destination engagement, I can’t help but feel like a kid on Christmas morning! Destination engagements add that extra dose of excitement to the photo shoot and an extra layer of beauty to the photos, and Tina and Kalan totally nailed it with their location choice!
My couple drove almost 2 hours to make their beach engagement dreams a reality with me. And it was worth every mile. We hit up Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island, which is a perfect spot for those who want a dramatic landscape in their engagement photos. Plus, the location is so picturesque, it's bound to give you Instagram-worthy photos that you will want to show off to your family and friends!
Tina and Kalan really pulled out all the stops for their engagement photo shoot. Tina wore an oh-so-glamorous golden-toned dress, and Kalan looked so handsome in his all-black attire. Their vision made their engagement photos look like something straight out of a fashion magazine.
The weather was definitely smiling down on us during Tina and Kalan’s engagement session. Everything was perfect, from the right amount of wind and rolling waves to the dramatic evening sky that brought some magical lighting with it. The golden hour was absolutely fantastic!
The location, lighting, and chemistry between Tina and Kalan were seamlessly complementary. Nothing seemed out of place. Kalan and Tina brought their A-game to the shoot, and their confidence in front of the camera was so impressive. One of my favorite moments from their engagement session was when Kalan got down on one knee and slipped a ring on Tina’s finger!
