Carl Schurz Park in NYC is an amazing place for a sunrise engagement session. And Victoria and Thomas make this Carl Schurz Park Engagement Session even brighter with their presence! This place was unique because of its location, as it is a nearby area of beauty and light and not far from their own home.

Victoria and Thomas met extraordinarily - Victoria's mother. Victoria's mother and sister were visiting NYC from Miami. While in town, they sat in a restaurant when Thomas sat next to them. He kept to himself, checking emails, eating dinner, and having a drink, but Victoria's mother kept looking at him. This prompted Thomas to say hello. 

From there, her mother urged Thomas to meet her "other daughter" (Not the one currently sitting with her), who lived just across the street and had recently moved to New York City from London by way of Washington DC. Thomas agreed to message her through social media "soon."

This did not appeal to Victoria's mom, who responded with, "But now! Why not?" And Thomas did. 

About a month later, Victoria agreed to go with Thomas for drinks, not expecting anything more than a quick meeting to appease her mother, who had continued to mention him. Well, one meeting became several - five separate dates in the first week! 

And now, here we are at their Carl Schurz Park Engagement Session in NYC. Thank you, Thomas and Victoria, for letting me capture your engagement session. It was so much fun getting the chance to document your love.
